CAPS Central Scholar Carlos Mendez to Attend MIT

For the third year in a row, College Achieve Central is sending a scholar to an Ivy League institution on a full scholarship; Carlos Mendez Bonilla — one of our exceptional seniors — has been accepted to MIT, Brown University, and Dartmouth College, among other highly selective schools. His accomplishments are a powerful reflection of what is possible when students are supported, challenged, and believed in.

CAPS’ mission for all scholars to be prepared to excel in and graduate from top colleges and universities in the nation requires this of all scholars. We are proud to share: for the third consecutive year, 100% of our graduating seniors have been accepted to four-year colleges, including prestigious institutions such as Harvard University, Princeton University, and the University of Pennsylvania. These results demonstrate what our students can achieve with the right opportunities and high expectations.
